Prabowo-Sandi BPN Wants Vision-Mission Delivered Directly by Paslon
Jurnal Fakta. The National Winning Body (BPN) Prabowo-Sandi Prabowo-Sandi objected to the first debate system carried out by the campaign team to convey the vision and mission. They requested that the exposure of the vision and mission be delivered directly by the presidential and vice presidential candidate pairs.
"This is what we will encourage. Paslon must explain its vision and mission directly. Not by the campaign team," said Director of Material and Debate of the National Winning Body (BPN) Prabowo-Sandi, Sudirman Said in a written statement on Saturday.
According to Sudirman, the interests of this vision and mission presentation delivered directly by the candidate pairs are very large because the community has the right to know more about what the candidate pairs will do if they are elected president and vice president for the 2019-2024 period.
"The pair of presidential and vice-presidential candidates conveyed that the vision of this mission was very important to be known by the public. So that the people knew that the candidate knew well how to bring this great nation forward," he said.
"The public will understand, in what direction this nation will be brought by the future leaders. And more importantly, the public will know the extent to which the candidate masters the problems that occur in this country. If the candidate pairs stutter and do not master the problem, this will be "It's a big problem. Because people are like buying cats in sacks," he added.
In addition, Sudirman also asked the KPU to cooperate with the Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPI) to direct all mass media to broadcast live exposure to the vision and mission carried out by the candidate pairs. "This country is very broad. We want our brothers and sisters in all corners of the country to objectively exercise their right to vote and participate in determining the future of this nation. This is a true democracy that is respected by us," he said.
As is known, the General Election Commission (KPU) will hold a debate on presidential and vice presidential candidates on January 17, 2019. The plan, this debate will be held five times. Before the debate was held, the KPU would carry out the pre-vision and mission delivery on January 9, 2019 by their respective campaign teams.
